Thanks for your info. In the Iodine workshop Group on FB they recommend at least 3 weeks off Iodine to Detox Bromide. I have started reacting to Iodine after many years. I do salt loading no Iodine. What is your opinion on this? I feel confused🙏

How long does that bottle of j. Crows Lugol's last for a dose of 25 mg a day? I'm trying to get a bigger bang for my buck on iodine and just yesterday I bought tri-iodine (pill form 12.5 mg per pill, 90 pills) and it's significantly more expensive. I don't know how much a drop is per bottle of liquid iodine so I couldn't calculate the difference.

I think you are absolutely right. I knew nothing about iodine until I was diagnosed with Grave's disease (hyperthyroidism for your viewers). One of the first tests was the radioactive iodine test and I felt 100% better after that test, but it didn't last long. Every endocrinologist I have been to said to avoid iodine and anything with iodine in it. But I kept thinking about how much better I felt the day after that uptake test and starting doing research. I had heard of Lugols, but couldn't get it in 2020, so I started taking Tri-Iodine. Iodine used to be the standard treatment for thyroid, both hyper and hypo. I do NOT understand why doctors refuse to treat with iodine. I suspect big pharma influenced medical schools. All I know is that iodine made a huge difference for me. I am now in remission and did not tell my endo how it came about. She thinks it was the meds she prescribed. I developed Thyroid Eye Disease despite taking Selenium. I picked it up at a local health store. What kind do you like?

Last night I took 50mg of lugols iodine and guess what woke up in morning and found yellow stains everywhere on my bed sheets where I lay my head. I even asked CHATGPT and it confirmed that most likely is because of bromide detox. CRAZY. Even CHATGPT doesnt lie.

Brilliant anecdotal account! Needed to see this because I'm starting my detox journey now. I recently found out I had hypothyroidism, and my holistic health coach recommended I take Lugol's 2% iodine - well, it gave me insane energy and I felt so good, until the detox symptoms kicked in and my whole body ached, and I had tingling/numbness on my hands/arms. After some research, I realize I was not drinking enough water/eating enough salt with it!! Now that I've gone down the salt-loading protocol rabbit hole, I'm sure this is what I needed to bind to the excess bromide in my thyroid that was being pushed out by the iodine. I'm kinda annoyed she didn't mention detox symptoms w/ the iodine haha - hopefully this helps! ty! One question tho - would you recommend I do the salt loading protocol for a while FIRST before starting up the iodine again, since my iodine symptoms were so intense? Also, how long should I do it for before introducing the iodine? (note: I'm taking 200mcg selenium, get vit D, and 500mg Vit c daily)

Pro tip for the heat generator: flowing lava counts, which means a single lava bucket can surround all 5 sides to start with. Later with lava logging, 2 more buckets can heat the 6th side plus the generator block itself.
